The AL-KO Energy Flex range of garden tools are all powered by a single 40v lithium-ion battery. The 4Ah and 5Ah batteries are fully rechargeable and offer all the power of a petrol machine but without the exhaust fumes.

Battery powered garden machinery lets the user move freely around the garden without any trailing electrical cables to cause a problem.

The AL-KO HT 4055 cordless hedge trimmer has a 55cm blade length and uses double sided. diamond cut. reciprocating blades that can cut through overgrown hedges and shrubs up to a thickness of 20mm. As there’s no cable attached to the hedge trimmer you can go right to the end of long hedges without having to use an extension cable or re-fuel a petrol tank. Fully charged. a battery can last 120 minutes depending on the cutting conditions.

With the battery fitted. the hedge trimmer weighs only 3.9kg so can be used by most gardeners.

The ALKO HT4055 cordless hedge cutter does not include a battery or charger. These need to be bought separately.
