Offering the perfect solution for those who do not wish to collect their grass cuttings. the MTF 98 MSD from Mountfield offer 2 different ways to cut; side discharge where your clipping are left in neat rows to the side of the machine and can be left to wilt back naturally and mulching. Mulching is ideal for lawns that are cut on a more regular basis. Grass is cut and then re-cut before being blown back on to the lawn. These tiny pieces then provide your lawn with additional moisture and nutrients that promote a healthier regrowth. The mulch kit is available as an optional extra.

The 352cc single cylinder Stiga engine powers the 98MSD with a manual transmission with 5 forward and a reverse gear. Fitted with a 38 inch (98cm) cutting deck with 7 cutting height options ranging through 25-80mm.
