Zero turn lawn tractors use a side discharge cutter deck as standard but can be fitted with optional collection bags and a mulch kit if required. The Snapper ZTX350 top end tractor has the 52 inch/132cm cutting deck. It’s rugged and hard wearing with the triple bladed side discharge deck constructed from fabricated steel on a fully welded steel chassis. The deck is fitted with anti-scalp wheels which effectively help the deck to ‘float’ over uneven ground without scalping or damaging it. The cutting height of the deck can be altered with a simple foot pedal operation from 38–110mm through 13 positions. A superb cut and finish is achieved by the 3 blades which the ZTX350 deck uses. Multiple cutting height options allow the operator to choose the most effective for the mowing conditions and terrain.

Snapper garden tractors are produced to a very high standard by Briggs and Stratton in America. Their zero turn ZTX tractors have commercially inspired features which can withstand the toughest of terrains. Instead of a traditional steering wheel the tractor is controlled by the twin left and right hand drive levers. This gives the operator smooth. fast manoeuvring of the machine over different terrains and around obstacles. The hydrostatic (automatic) transmission helps this as no gear changes are involved. just like an automatic car. Forward travelling speed is up to 12 km/h and reverse 4 km/h.

The Snapper ZTX350 uses a Briggs & Stratton Pro Series 8270 V-Twin engine. This powerful v-twin engine has an electric key start and offers 724cc of power. These 8270 Pro series petrol engines have superior performance. torque and power over other brand engines in the same class. The higher the torque rating. the more power is produced. so mowing can be done at peak productivity and performance. Briggs and Stratton provide an extensive service network throughout the country for their engines.

Whilst you’re mowing especially for longer periods you want to feel comfortable and the Snapper zero turn lawn tractors all have ergonomically designed seats. The mid-back seat on the ZTX350 is adjustable and includes arm rests. The control panel has even been placed in the most ergonomic position so the operator can access it easily.

When it comes to maintaining the deck. the foot plate can be removed easily for access.

The Snapper ZTX 350 has an integrated cargo bed for added versatility.
