The SLM 540 AE cordless mower offers the consumer a practical alternative to petrol and electric mowers.

Stiga’s SLM 540 AE has a cutting width of 38cm and 6 height cutting options ranging through 25-75mm. The robust but lightweight deck enable the mower to be easy to handle and manoeuvre whist still being able to take knocks. FFitted with a 40 litre collection box with a vision window so the user can see when the box is full. With 2 cutting options; collect or mulch (mulch plug not included) the user can easily switch between the 2. Simply add the mulch plug for extra fine cuttings that simply get blown back onto the lawn. Mulching is particularly good for your lawn as it provides nutrients and moisture to the roots. promoting healthy lawn re-growth. 

The SLM 540 AE joins the range of Stiga Powerhead 500 Series 48v battery powered garden equipment. The 500 Series batteries are compatible with all of the machines and are available in 3 different sizes; SBT520 (2Ah). SBT540 (4Ah) and SBT 550 (5Ah). For the best performance. Stiga recommend the SBT 540 AE (4Ah) battery for this particular machine. The higher the Ah number. the longer the battery will run.
